Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 16, 2026
JTM Associates, LLC wants IVDNews to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We aim for the IVDNews web app and sign-in pages to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have done
- Pages can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
- Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA color-contrast levels, in both light and dark mode.
- Headings, landmarks, labels and button names are marked up so screen readers can announce them; icons that carry no meaning are hidden from assistive technology.
- Charts have descriptive labels, and the main data are also available as tables (for example, the market statistics and competition tables). Color is not the only way information is shown.
- Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens, and the scrolling headlines pause when you hover over or focus them and stop if your device asks for reduced motion.
- The sign-in page lets you show your password while typing and works with password managers.
Known limitations
- Some older articles, and images supplied with them, may lack text descriptions or full structure.
- Earnings-call summaries and full quarterly deals reports are displayed as complete documents inside the page; parts of them may not fully meet the standard.
- Not every chart has a table equivalent yet.
- Email newsletters are designed to work in a wide range of email programs and may not meet every guideline.
We are working to fix these. If any of them affects you, contact us and we will provide the information in another way.
Feedback and help
If you have trouble using any part of IVDNews, or need content in a different format, please email editor@ivdnews.com with the page address and a short description of the problem. We will respond as soon as we can.
How this statement was prepared
This statement is based on a review of the web app’s design and code in October 2026, including a check of text and background color contrast and testing at desktop, tablet and phone screen sizes. We will review it when the service changes.
